Fried Indomie Noodles

Ingredients:

  • Indomie Noodles
    3 Packs
    I used the onion chicken flavoured noodles. You can substitute Indomie with any other instant noodles
  • Chicken Sausage
    4 Small Pieces
  • Carrot
    1 Pieces
    Chopped
  • Chilli Pepper
    1 Pieces
    Locally called shombo. You can substitute with other peppers
  • Red Onions
    1 Small Pieces
    Preferably the one they serve with Suya. It adds in more flavour to the noodles than if you were to use white or yellow onions.
  • Ground Crayfish
    1/2 Teaspoons
  • Vegetable Oil
    1/4 Cups
  • Eggs
    3 Pieces
    Fried, to serve

    How to make Fried Indomie Noodles

    Do you love Indomie noodles? Here is another super delicious way to make your noodles.
    1. Blend the onion and pepper together (A dry blend, no water added).

    2. Add water to a pot, bring to a boil. Add in the indomie noodles and cook until done. Bring it down, add in two of the Indomie seasoning (I used 3 packs so there were 3 seasoning satchets, add two and save one satchet for later).

    **Indomie onion chicken noodles comes with a special oil in addition to the regular noodle seasoning. Don’t add in the oil yet, set the oil aside for later use.

    3. Mix in the seasoning with the noodles. Set aside.

    4. Add oil to a pan, add in the sausages and fry till done. Drain the oil from the sausage.

    **I wanted fried eggs to go with my noodles so I used the same oil from the sausages to fry eggs. I seasoned the eggs with 1 Maggi seasoning cube, garlic powder, onion powder, white pepper and a pinch of paprika. After frying the eggs, it left the pan with extra flavour from the eggs. But you can skip and go straight to step 5.

    5. Drain off most of the oil from the pan leaving only a few tablespoons left, add in the oil satchet that comes with the noodles, make sure the oil is hot enough, then add in the blended pepper and onion. Stir-fry for a minute then add the chopped carrots.

    6. Stir-fry for about 3 minutes then add the remaining noodle seasoning and the crayfish. If you want you can also add a pinch of salt and pepper here.

    7. Stir and cook for a few seconds then add in the cooked noodles.

    8. Stir until everything is combined. Cook for about 1 minute.

    Done. Your Fried Indomie Noodles is ready. Serve with fried eggs.

Indomie Noodles

Ingredients

Indomie Noodles packets 2
Mixed vegetables 1 cup
Chopped onions 1 tbsp
Water 2 cups
Pepper flakes 1 tsp

  1. Pour 2 cups of water in a pot, and turn on the heat to medium.
  2. Put the 2 packets of noodles into the pot, and make sure the bottom of all the noodle stacks are in contact with the water. Break up the noodles if you have to.

  1. Next, I add everything else; mixed vegetables, pepper flakes, the included condiments, onions, and the protein if I plan to (not in this recipe). Make sure you’re keeping the pot covered. It needs the steam to cook.
  1. Cover and let everything cook for about 5 minutes. Stir together, and you’re ready to go

Ditch your plain instant noodle dish and try this fancy recipe instead.

Ingredients

1 packet Indomie noodles
1 cup raw shrimp (cleaned)
1 tablespoon cooking oil
Mashed sardines/Corn beef
Chopped vegetables: Green pepper, mushrooms, green beans, red bell pepper, carrots, and any other of choice.

Preparation

1. Open Indomie pack and remove seasoning. Cook Indomie according to package instruction until firm, not overly soft.
2. Add oil into a pan and heat over high.
3. Put in the shrimps and beef/sardines and cook on all sides for about two minutes.
4. Add in the vegetables and stir fry for a minute.
5. Add in noodle seasoning and then noodles.
5. Stir and until noodles marinate in seasoning.

Your gourmet meal is ready to be eaten. Serve with cold juice.

Noodle, fried eggs and Suya

Ingredients

1 serving
  1. 1 pack indomine noodles
  2. 2 eggs
  3. 3 spoons groundnut oil
  4. 2 seeds of red pepper
  5. 1/4 Onions
  6. Suya

Steps

20mins
  1. Heat up 1cup of water, once its boiling, add noodles spice and break in the noodles, add diced onions and pepper
  2. Allow it cook till its tender and water is dried up. turn off heat and set aside
  3. Break eggs in a bowl, add diced onions and a pinch of salt whisk and set aside
  4. Heat up frying pan, add groundnut oil once its hot pour in the whisked egg and fry till its tender
  5. Serve noodles with suya and fried egg

Jollof vegetable noodles

Ingredients

  1. packs Noodle
  2. Tin tomatoes
  3. leaves Green
  4. Noodle seasoning
  5. Little oil

Steps

15 mins
  1. Boil the noodles and add the tin tomatoes
  2. Sprinkle the vegetables in and add the seasoning powder with the vegetable oil
  3. Stir and let it dry
  4. Serve with fish or egg

Cabbage noodles

Ingredients

1 serving
  1. 2 medium sized noodles
  2. Cabbage
  3. Pepper
  4. Curry
  5. Oil

Steps

15mins
  1. Set your pot on medium heat and add a little oil
  2. Add your chopped or grinded pepper and and stir it for some minutes
  3. Add water and curry
  4. When it boils you add your noodles
  5. Let it cook small then you add the sauce of your noodles
  6. When it's about to cook you add your chopped cabbage
  7. Let it cook for some minutes
  8. And poof your noodles is ready

Shrimp Noodles

Ingredients

  1. 1 pack noodles
  2. 10 prawns cleaned
  3. 1 Noodles spice
  4. 2 fresh pepper dice
  5. 1/2 bell pepper dice
  6. 2 mushrooms dice
  7. 1/2 onion dice
  8. Dash spring onion
  9. 2 tbsp canola oil

Steps

  1. Heat up water in a pot and add noodles spice and once the water is boiling hot break the noodles and allow it cook it’s almost tender then remove from heat and set aside
  2. Heat up frying pan, add canola oil once it’s hot stir in prawns and fry then add onions, mushrooms, pepper and any spice you wish to add
  3. Stir in the bell pepper and then noodles and mix everything together and toss in the spring onion
  4. Remove from heat and serve

Seafood/Chicken Noodles Stirfry

Ingredients

  1. 1 pack noodle
  2. 8 fresh prawns
  3. 10 piece chicken breast
  4. 2 fresh pepper dice
  5. 1/2 onions dice
  6. Yellow, green and red bell pepper dice
  7. Noodles spice
  8. Secret spice
  9. 2 tbsp seasame oil
  10. 1 tsp soy sauce

Steps

  1. Heat up water in a small pot and once it’s boiling hot; add the noodles spice and secret spice and break the noodles into it and allow it cook till it’s abit tender and water dried up
  2. Once noodles is ready remove from heat then set aside; place frying pan on heat and add sesame oil
  3. And then stir in chicken and prawns and stir fry till they are cooked through
  4. Add onion, pepper and secret spice then add the bell pepper and stir
  5. Pour in noodles and mix everything together then turn off heat and serve
  6. N.B I marinated the prawn and chicken breast with little secret spice for the period I was doing other stuff and when I was ready the mix would have sat well

Indomine with carrots and plantain

Ingredients

1 serving
  1. 1 packet Indomine 
     
  2. 1 Onion 
     
  3. 1 ripe plantain
     
  4. 1/4 teaspoon Curry 
     
  5. 2 Carrots

  6. Vegetable oil

Steps

  1. Boil the undone with the ingredient that comes with it.add onion,vegetable oil and curry.
     
  2. After 10minutes stir and cut the carrots and pour inside to boil stir and is ready.

  3. Boil the ripe plantain for 10minutes.and enjoy it with the indomine

Yummy indomie and egg

Ingredients

2 servings
  1. 2 noodle packs
  2. Tomatoes and pepper
  3. Onions
  4. Boiled Egg

Steps

  1. Put water on the fire and let it boil
  2. Add the noodles and the tomatoes with pepper
  3. Add the onions and add the seasoning cubes
  4. Put the boiled eggs and let it cook
  5. Ready when water is dried up
