How to make Fried Indomie Noodles

Do you love Indomie noodles? Here is another super delicious way to make your noodles.
    1. Blend the onion and pepper together (A dry blend, no water added).

    2. Add water to a pot, bring to a boil. Add in the indomie noodles and cook until done. Bring it down, add in two of the Indomie seasoning (I used 3 packs so there were 3 seasoning satchets, add two and save one satchet for later).

**Indomie onion chicken noodles comes with a special oil in addition to the regular noodle seasoning. Don’t add in the oil yet, set the oil aside for later use.

    3. Mix in the seasoning with the noodles. Set aside.

    4. Add oil to a pan, add in the sausages and fry till done. Drain the oil from the sausage.

**I wanted fried eggs to go with my noodles so I used the same oil from the sausages to fry eggs. I seasoned the eggs with 1 Maggi seasoning cube, garlic powder, onion powder, white pepper and a pinch of paprika. After frying the eggs, it left the pan with extra flavour from the eggs. But you can skip and go straight to step 5.

    5. Drain off most of the oil from the pan leaving only a few tablespoons left, add in the oil satchet that comes with the noodles, make sure the oil is hot enough, then add in the blended pepper and onion. Stir-fry for a minute then add the chopped carrots.

    6. Stir-fry for about 3 minutes then add the remaining noodle seasoning and the crayfish. If you want you can also add a pinch of salt and pepper here.

    7. Stir and cook for a few seconds then add in the cooked noodles.

    8. Stir until everything is combined. Cook for about 1 minute.

Done. Your Fried Indomie Noodles is ready. Serve with fried eggs.

How to cook Indomie with sardine

By pairing Indomie noodles with sardine you can add the vital protein to your meal and enrich the taste of the noodles. You can add sardines to Indomie with vegetables for an even more delicious flavour or stick to just noodles and sardines.

To cook Indomie with sardines and vegetables, prepare the Indomie and the vegetables separately and then combine them in a pan. Turn the heat off and add a tin of sardines without the oil. Break the sardines, mix it into the noodles, and serve!

Indomie Jollof

2 packets of Indomie
1/4 Red Onion
1/2 clove of Garlic or shavings of Ginger* – optional
1 Ata Rodo
1 tablespoon Olive oil
2 cooking spoons of Stew
Meat/Fish/Chicken from the
A handful of chopped parsley or peas
Water
…….and that’s it.

Here’s How to

1. Dice the onion, the ata rodo and garlic or ginger if you intend to use, and set aside
2. In a saucepan, heat up the Olive oil and fry the diced ingredients for 1 minute. This is to help flavour the oil
3. Add a cup of water to the saucepan, followed by the stew and the Indomie seasoning – Yes you still need the seasoning because the stew has been diluted by the water.
4. Bring this to a boil and this will create a peppered stock.
5. Add your Indomie noodles and boil for 5 – 7 minutes. Just as you would normally, when it is done sprinkle in the parsley or the peas

…………and that’s it. The same process as making Jollof rice, but this time the pepper is from already prepared stew. Indomie cooks really fast, and the you added stew has increased the density of water so watch the noodles so it doesn’t burn. You will notice some of the richeness of the stew at the bottom of the sauce pan, so simply stir just before it’s done. Take it off the heat and Taste the Difference. Not your average Indomie Noodles eh?
